Pluto on QO-100
Simon Brown • January 17, 2020
Works Well!
One of my Pluto units has been modified to use an external 40 MHz reference input, I use a unit from
Leo Bodnar
so it's nice and stable.
The pluto drives a
CN 0417 pre-amplifier
which in turn is driving a
SG Labs 20W amplifier
, output ~ 5W.

After talking on QO-100 with Mike, G0MJW i've ordered a LibreSDR from AliExpress where it's known as "SDR AD9363 AD9361 ZYNQ7020 ADI Pluto communication experiment platform".
