At least my first go at 1E seems to not be so good. What was an always clean and clear decode is now distorted with some clicks and pops and other artifacts. Not good sounding at all. This is with NB and any other processing off. Sounds like every signal has ajacent channel splatter.

To compare I went to PSDR and it was fine there so something has changed in 1E.

Running Vista all latest updates.

I noticed the cracks and pops myself - I will get it fixed today.

Hi,

Please try switching the Graphics Equaliser off - this can cause what you are hearing if the gain is turned up too much. I have corrected this today.

The graphics equalizer was not on. I am still hearing general splatter and even see it on the waterfall. It is daytime here and 75 meters is pretty dead. I will really be able to tell better tonight. It seems to have better sensitivity but also this splatter or intermod problem. Not good sounding.

Curious if you can go back with these technology reviiews? Can I reinstall 1D over 1E?
