GE Steve and All, in reading your queries I recalled that I used some time ago a small program that stores\recalls all the audio settings.

I have also the same problems as Steve; as in daily use of the various audio programs many change the audio settings "at own will" so have always to run
around in resetting the levels.
I hope it will be of use to you too.
Of course an INBUILT function would reduce the "radio-stress", just pray Saint Simon

I don't believe Quickmix works with Windows 7, it did not work with Vista and the author told me that he had no intentions of changing it. This is a pity as it was invaluable with XP
