Custom Keys

Use these key assignments in custom devices such as the Griffin Powermate and Contour Shuttle Xpress. Valid as of December 12th, 2009, you'll need Tech Preview #2.

F15 - 1kHz Ctrl+F15 + 1kHz
F14 - 100Hz Ctrl+F14 + 100Hz
F13 - 10Hz Ctrl+F13 + 10Hz

RFSPace Radios

Information for the RFSpace range of SDR radios.

  • If you see A/D Overload in the status bar you must reduce the RF Gain, to do this select RF Gain in the toolbar befow the S-Meter and Frequency display.
Record & Playback

At present you can only playback files created using this console.

  • The playback information is stored in a auxi chunk in the wavefile using XML, the XML format is available on request.
  • The maximum wavefile size is 2GB.
  • Wavefiles are chained together using the XML data.
Crash Dumps

The console uses and advanced BugTrap to make a copy of the process memory.

  • If the console stops working you see a Please Wait window, wait until this window closes and the next window is shown.
  • In this window press More...
  • In the next window press Save and save to a ZIP file (which is quite big - maybe 50MB).
  • Send an email to simon@hb9drv.ch and you will receive upload instructions.
Performance

To reduce the CPU usage:

  • Make the spectrum scope area smaller,
  • Use a slower waterfall speed.

Broken Audio

  • If the audio is badly broken up make sure the console window is not minimised. This may only be a problem with Intel Atom computers (netbooks etc.).
