As I built the original hardware that Simon HB9DRV used for development and I will be building a MOBO and V6.3 RXTX for him so that he can include TX support I will also be helping him with support of the SDR-Radio software and it's use with the Softrock.

However if you have a problem please post it here not in the softrock list as I am sure Tony probably doesn't want the Softrock yahoo group swamped with software threads. Likewise please don't email me direct as it will be better to post here.

Working perfectly on my Softrock receiver. No need for LO display as it is taken care of automatically.

Softrock Receiver V8.3 - M0ZEH

Having used my V8.3 receiver for many hours now over a period of months. I have noticed in the text for the op amps stage http://www.wb5rvz.com/sdr/RX_V8_3/IV_..., final output is 5V p-p. Is the input to most sound cards lower than this? I seem to have to set the input mixer in software to extremely low levels!

I propose to put an attenuator circuit on the output of my softrock but I'm concerned it would affect the balance of IQ. I don't want to adjust the gain of the op amps as I know frequency response may be affected if I do this.

What voltage levels do the other SDR's output?
